Institute Retreat

Friday March 8th  

10:50 AM -11:50 AM: Child Committee Meeting 

    • For committee members & child faculty only
    • Anschutz Health Sciences Building, Room 4120
    • Light breakfast or lunch provided

12:00-3:00 PM:  Educational Program - An Introduction to the Psychoanalytic Study of Groups

  • Open to faculty, candidates, students, PTP grads
  • Anschutz Health Sciences Building, Room 2201
  • NO LUNCH. Coffee, water, light snacks provided, 2 15 minute breaks
  • Part 1, from 12-1pm there will be a didactic presentation and discussion of basic concepts, 
  • Part 2, will be an experiential group for 60 minutes,
  • Part 3, will be a 30 minute application group
  • 2.5 CMEs will be offered and contingent upon return of evaluation
  • Readings will be distributed separately


3:30 - 5:00 PM:  Curriculum Meeting

  • For faculty only 
  • Anschutz Health Sciences Building, Room 2201


6:30-9:30 PM:  Dinner

  • Open to students, candidates, faculty and their guests, capped 50 attendees
  • Del Frisco's Grille, 100 St. Paul St, Cherry Creek. 
  • 6:30 PM - 7:00 PM arrival and mingling  /  7:00 PM dinner
  • Business casual attire required
  • Salad & Entrée option selected on site.  Dietary restrictions can be told to the server.

Saturday March 9th   (faculty only) Anschutz Health Sciences Building, Room 2201

  • 9 AM - 12 PM:      Holmes Committee Report Discussion (click hyperlink to view)
  • 12:00 - 12:30 PM:  Lunch Break, provided
  • 12:30 - 3:30 PM:    Faculty Meeting


Registration Fees:

  • Candidates & Students  FREE for Friday March 8th (this counts towards your 30 week attendance)
  • PTP Graduates (Friday only)  $30
  • Faculty Registration Fee $60 

Dinner at Del Frisco's Grille Fee:

  • Candidates & Students $50 Friday dinner
  • Faculty, PTP grads & guests $100 Friday dinner

Parking on campus:

  • $1/hr on weekdays
  • $1 all day on weekend
  • Del Frisco's offers complimentary valet parking available from 4pm-close; and validates customer parking in 100 Saint Paul Garage for up to 2 hours

Registration Notes:

  • Register by February 28th.
  • Late registrations are not guaranteed.
  • Cancellations after February 28th may not be eligible for a refund since we've locked in our numbers and the Institute is contractually required to pay by the number of guests we informed them about.
